Look! Up in the Sky! Hah, gotcha.

So, it's been... Almost exactly a month since my last rant, and I thought, since I'm so insanely happy right now, I'd do a bit of an update!

Went shopping yesterday, bought three books from my birthday vouchers and money... Did I mention it was my birthday 10 days ago? Oh. I didn't. How rude, you may now shower me with gifts and money. ;)
Found the new Redwall book :D Which had been OH SO CONVENIENTLY placed so far away from the other Redwall books... And it's in hardcover... Which really... Kinda... Well... It sucks. But I am happy :)
Also bought Tamora Pierce's book; Bloodhound, second book in the Beka Cooper series, which is really awesome if you're into heroines and cop stories from... Medieval-ish times.
Aaaaaand I got Firestar's Quest from the Warriors' Series :D Which is like a sidestory from the main series. :) Just missed out on one book, but anyways.

And last week, I was sick. ALL WEEK. Which was kinda nice, but it sucked because I had Benign Positional Vertigo :) See, it even has a fancy name! Yeah, so I couldn't walk and couldn't concentrate and basically lived on water and chicken soup all week. And didn't get any schoolwork done, which is why I'm kinda shitting myself now. So all week, I've been shitsick.

And into the present; It's Mother's Day, so let's be slaves for the day :) It's also my brother's birthday today, and he's turning 13 :) Which is pretty epic, I had enough money to buy him a present too. :)

Oh and guess what. I'm actually, ACTUALLY going to submit a deviation by the week's end. Seriously. My science project, I'm doing a photography thing, since there isn't some kind of drawing element. And I'm using plasticine. So I spent about... 1hr 30mins today making this cross section of a human head. And it's pretty awesome if I do say so myself. Looks like a Wallace and Grommit person :) Seriously, I could do this for a living. It's probably a little off on the anatomy-scale side of things, but I reckon it's pretty awesome. I used a LOT of toothpick heads to stick things together.AH I'M SO PROUD! :D

Bad news. The house a.k.a MUM. Switched the internet provider over to TELSTRA. Now for those bods who don't live in Australia... There are pretty much two main contenders for your internet; Optus and Telstra.
It's like using a Mac and a PC, one's always preferable and probably better, and by that I mean a PC. Sure, a Mac might be cheaper, which Telstra is, but it's kinda shoddy, costs a lot to install and repair and it's SLOW. Optus is a little higher priced, but it goes FASTER and you're paying for that extra security bonus, which basically means: Unless there's a bushfire in the middle of the city, or a major nationwide blackout, you'll ALWAYS have internet.
So... In short: MY INTERNET IS SLOW, SHITTY AND THIS PAGE TOOK ABOUT 5MINS TO LOAD. No I'll make it shorter: MY INTERNET IS WORSE THAN DIAL UP.

Anyway, the highlight right now, is my newfound independence and the little head crossection I just made :D No professional tools, unless toothpicks count :P I'll probably harden it in the oven when I'm done :D

What else... I was going to do a really big rant and stuff... But I ran out of things to say.

TTFN :)

5 minutes to load?!!! That's crazy!!! Well my internet is bad too, we get capped VERY easily. :(

In photography, we have to turn a painting of two old people into a painting of two young people (the painting we're using is called American Gothic). If I finish it, I'll upload it! :)

Wow... How do you do that? Just... Would you draw a few more lines and some shadows to make it look like two young people are wearing old people masks? :P That's my idea.

haha! more complicated then that XD! I have to smudge the wrinkles off, saturate the hair colour, change their clothes and make them look like 14 yr olds. Currently, after photoshopping, the woman looks in her 30s. :P

WOW. That's epic. We get to do art based photography next year and real photography in year 11. D: Art based stuff is like... Hand made photoshop.

Hand made? Cool! Does that mean you hand colour black and white photos and do other stuff?
